Leica BLK Live is the mobile field companion application for the Leica BLK reality capture ecosystem, providing seamless control, visualization, and management of data captured with the Leica BLK360, BLK2GO, BLK2GO PULSE, and BLK ARC scanners. Designed for simplicity and mobility, BLK Live allows users to connect directly to their scanner, control capture settings, monitor scanning progress in real time, and immediately review collected data in the field.
The application features immersive 2D and 3D visualization tools that enable users to inspect point clouds, imagery, and trajectories as they are captured, helping ensure complete coverage before leaving the site. For BLK360 workflows, BLK Live provides real-time tracking of scanner movement and setup locations using Leica’s Visual Inertial System (VIS), improving field efficiency and confidence in data collection.
BLK Live also streamlines project organization by allowing users to manage jobs, preview scans, export data in industry-standard formats such as E57, and upload projects directly to cloud-based collaboration platforms, including Reality Cloud Studio. The result is a faster, more connected reality capture workflow that bridges field acquisition and office processing.
